We are assisting an established independent insurance broker as they look to add an ambitious Account Executive that is keen to work alongside a Director and develop themselves and their career further. The role is based from home with all equipment provided, with access to offices in Leeds or Doncaster.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive looking for a new challenge with a broker offering excellent prospects, or an Account Handler with a new business background that is keen to make the step forward. They are looking to invest long term and support someone as they gradually build up a client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be working alongside the Managing Director and receiving one on one support
- Build long standing relationships with new and existing clients
- Utilise your insurance industry knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities to generate new business
- Use relationship building skills to grow and retain a profitable book of business
- Enhance your networking skills to develop a sustainable pipeline of new business covering a wide range of commercial insurance products
- Demonstrate your self-motivated and hardworking nature to meet and exceed set income & retention targets
- Drive quality, consistency and accuracy in all aspects of the sales and retention process
- Use your excellent communication and client handling abilities to ensure an outstanding client experience at all times
- Use leads passed over by an experienced internal Telesales Executive, whilst also being able to generate own activity through referrals and networking
Qualifications
- A track record in retaining existing and placing new business in the commercial insurance industry, either as an Account Executive or Account Handler is essential
- Ability to cover the Yorkshire region utilising your diary management skills to ensure you maximise your client reach
- A genuine interest in building long standing working relationships with clients
- Ability and drive to build up a book of new business, ensuring continued long-term client satisfaction
