A great opportunity has arisen with a growing independent broker who are investing in the future of the business as they look to add a Trainee Account Executive to their established team in South Yorkshire.
They are looking for a Commercial Insurance Sales Executive / Trainee Account Executive to support clients with new enquiries with regards to their business insurance.
Main duties will include:
- Converting new business enquiries which are generated through leads, referrals and networking
- Working with an external company who provide a constant flow of warm leads
- Supporting clients either over the phone or face to face
- Building strong relationships with clients and understanding insurance needs
- Handling risks with premiums ranging anywhere from £500 to £50,000
- Dealing with new business enquiries, providing clients with competitive quotes to suit their insurance needs
- Broking risks for new business through open markets
- Using a selection of online insurer portals to place new business
- Working closely with the existing business team
- Retain clients to build up a serviceable portfolio
- Using the Acturis system
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop further and be part of a growing business with exciting plans for the future. You will be working directly alongside the MD, who will provide on-going training and support, with the aim to become a fully-fledged Account Executive in the near future.
The basic is up to c£40k (OTE c45k+) depending on experience, and comes with a fantastic bonus, car allowance of £4.5k, 25 days holiday, pension scheme, hybrid working and full support towards CII qualifications.
