We are currently assisting a leading broker who have experienced significant growth over the past few years, leading them to become a Top 30 UK Broker and one of the best in the region. Due to this growth they are looking to add an additional Account Handler to the team to work closely with the Broking Manager and alongside Account Directors in relation to the servicing of some complex clients.
Main duties:
- You will be working closely with Account Directors
- Responsible for a portfolio of existing commercial clients, made up by plc's and large LTD's across Yorkshire and surrounding areas
- Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their insurance needs
- Dealing with premiums ranging from £10,000 and exceeding £350,000
- Dealing with renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level
- Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and building strong relationships
- Broking risks for new business and renewals
- Using the Acturis system
