We are delighted to continue our partnership with this leading independent broking group as they continue to invest in their South Yorkshire set up, this time with an additional HNW Account Manager who will take up the servicing and retention of an existing portfolio of clients.
You will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, supporting clients with personal insurance/HNW needs, and driving growth within your assigned portfolio. Working closely with clients, you will assist in providing tailored insurance solutions, managing renewals, and ensuring their evolving needs are met with expert advice. This role requires a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a growing understanding of personal lines insurance products.
Key Duties:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with personal lines clients, ensuring their insurance needs are understood and addressed
- Managing a book generating £200k in income, with 80% HNW/Connected and 20% Personal Lines - Premiums range from £100 to £10,000
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries, providing advice, and offering support throughout the policy life cycle
- Regularly engage with clients to ensure their portfolios remain adequate and aligned with their needs
- Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and word-of-mouth to expand your client base
- Assist in the renewal process for existing clients, ensuring renewals are completed on time and ensuring policies reflect their current needs
- Support in negotiating with insurers to secure competitive terms for clients
- Regularly review client policies and update them as needed to ensure they reflect any changes in risk or life circumstances
Experience/Skills:
- Experience working in a customer-facing role within the insurance industry, specifically in personal lines or private clients
- A basic understanding of personal insurance products, such as home, motor, and travel insurance
- Experience working with insurance platforms and client management systems (e.g., Acturis or similar)
- A growing understanding of compliance regulations, including FCA regulations and Consumer Duty obligations
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage client portfolios and prioritise tasks effectively
- A proactive approach to client management and business development
- Ability to work well in a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve business goals
- A client-focused mindset, always striving to deliver high levels of service and satisfaction
- Working towards or willing to study for relevant industry qualifications
