We are supporting a leading broker who have a number of exciting opportunities within their specialist Financial Institutions division which would suit those looking to move from a general commercial environment.
One of these roles is for an Account Handler to support Account Directors with the servicing and retention of their key clients, which consists of Hedge Fund Managers, Private Equity Firms, Stockbrokers and Private Banks.
Key Duties:
- Contribute to a successful and expanding Financial Institutions team with training provided
- Market facing broking and liaising with underwriters in the Lloyds and London market
- Working as part of a team to prepare presentations for clients
- Responding to market queries and supporting Senior Brokers
- Manage relationships with colleagues and clients
- Providing technical advice and expertise to clients

Experience Required:
- Knowledge of the insurance industry from a commercial broking background, preferable with some professional risks experience, however full training will be provided
- Those with a corporate banking or legal background are also encouraged to apply
- Excellent and articulate communication and numerical skills
- Desire and ambition to pursue a career within a specialist field
- Insurance qualifications, ideally a minimum of Cert CII with commitment to progressing further
