An exciting opportunity to join one of West Yorkshires largest independent insurance brokers in a Corporate Broker role, working on key accounts from their well placed office in Halifax.
They are looking for an experienced Corporate Account Handler to join their established team and work closely with Account Executives and Directors in relation to the servicing and retention of their business insurance clients.
Main Duties:
- Servicing a portfolio of clients with an income in excess of £250,000
- Building strong relationships with clients and understanding insurance needs
- Dealing with premiums ranging from £10,000 and exceeding £175,000
- Obtain renewal terms for existing clients and identify potential alternative quotations before producing presentations for Account Executives
- Prepare documentation for existing clients in relation to renewals and mid-term adjustments in partnership with Account Executives
- Attend meetings with clients when required
- Deal with Insurer queries in relation to client policies
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
- Working towards professional qualifications and ideally Cert CII as a minimum
- First rate knowledge of general commercial insurance products
- Insurance administration experience
- Worked to targets within a regulated, measurable framework and achieved SLA's
- Risk aware in handling customer information
- Evidence of rapport-building experience
- Good customer service focus
- Able to identify potential risk/issues and seek advice/consultation when required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good planning and analytical skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
Due to the complexity of some of the clients in this portfolio, they are looking for someone that can hit the ground running. Salary on offer is negotiable depending on experience and comes with a market leading benefits package, that includes 26 days annual leave, pension, life assurance and an annual bonus.
