An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading Chartered Independent Insurance Brokerage in Bradford, who have been a reputable name in the region for over 100 years.
They are looking for a Commercial SME Account Handler to join their established direct client team, and be responsible for the servicing and retention of an existing portfolio of clients.
Key Duties:
- Building strong relationships with clients to better understand their insurance needs
- Handle premiums up to c£20,000
- Working with a broad range of clients, including, Property Owners, Retailers, Manufacturers, Motor Traders, Fleets and Professions
- Dealing with renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level
- Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and maintaining good relationships
- Broking risks for new business and renewals
- Refer any claims through to the dedicated team
- Working closely with the Corporate Broking team
- Using the Acturis system and a selection of EDI platforms on a daily basis
