A reputable independent insurance brokerage based in north Leeds, have a great opportunity for an experienced Claims Handler to join their growing team.
This is an exciting time in their history, with several positive changes in recent years, coupled with consistent growth both organically and through the acquisition of established brokers across the UK.
The Role:
- Handling claims on a ‘cradle to grave’ basis across various products including property, liability, motor and PI
- Handle client queries in relation to claims
- Ensure claims are managed in line with company procedure
- Keep insurers and clients up to date and informed
- Produce claims reports for Account Executives
The Required Skills:
- You will ideally have a at least 5 years experience as a Claims Handler and looking to step up to managing larger, more complex losses
- A good understanding of the claims process within an insurance broker
- A desire to learn, develop and progress your career
- Cert CII desirable but not essential – full support provided
- Good communicator and able to deal with pressurised and difficult situations, managing clients’ expectations and explaining claims outcomes
On offer is a competitive salary ranging from £32,000 to £40,000, 26 days holiday, enhanced pension, option to work from home a couple of days a week, support for professional qualifications, free on-site parking and an annual company bonus.
