We are excited to be assisting a growing independent insurance broker as they look to add an additional Account Handler to their support team.
They are looking to add an experienced Commercial Account Handler, who will work closely with Account Executives & Directors in relation to the servicing and retention of their clients.
Role:
- You will be a part of the commercial broking team, supporting direct clients and ones associated with an Account Executive
- You will handle an existing portfolio which is made up by clients with premiums ranging from £1,000 to £75,000+
- Handling and broking of new business and renewals, processing any MTA’s and managing any claims alongside the dedicated team
- A varied portfolio consisting of Property Owners, Manufacturers, Construction, Engineering, Retailers, Haulage & Professions clients
- Working alongside the Broking Director
- You will be using the Acturis system on a daily basis for all general tasks
Experience:
- You will have in-depth commercial insurance knowledge
- Good working knowledge of Property Owners, PI, Cyber & D&O risks
- Exposure to premiums from £10k upwards is ideal
- Good understanding of insurer markets, with established Underwriter relationships desirable
- You will be astute, confident and able to think outside the box
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail
In return there is a salary up to £36,000 and a benefits package which includes 25 days holiday, pension contribution, support for professional qualifications, annual bonuses and free on-site parking at their easily accessed office near Leeds city centre.
