Our client is a reputable and progressive, Chartered insurance Broker with a strong market presence and exciting future growth plans. As a result of this, they are looking to hire an experienced Commercial Account Handler at their office in north Bradford.
They have recently undergone some exciting changes in the business which will support them to achieve the growth goals they have over the next few years, and present more opportunity for current and future employees.
Main duties include:
- Working closely with Account Executives and Directors
- Building strong relationships with clients and understanding insurance needs
- Dealing with premiums ranging from £10,000 and exceeding £250,000
- Processing renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level
- Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and building strong relationships
- Broking risks for new business and renewals
- Generating reports and presentations for Account Executives to deliver to clients
- Maintaining accurate client records on Acturis
Key skills:
- Relationship developer with a positive and quality focus to handling client insurance needs
- Previous Commercial Insurance experience is essential
- An eye for detail with good insurance markets and product knowledge
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Team player with a willing and enthusiastic attitude to work and colleagues
