Commercial Account Handler – Leading Broker – North Leeds
Up to £48,000 + Excellent Benefits + Hybrid Working
We’re delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and highly respected insurance brokerage based in North Leeds, which is currently experiencing an exciting period of growth. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their close-knit team, providing senior-level support to a number of key clients.

The Role:
You’ll be supporting the servicing and retention of a portfolio of some of the firm’s largest commercial clients, managing premiums ranging from £30,000 to over £300,000. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing long-term, trusted relationships with commercial clients by delivering a high standard of service, understanding their business needs, and acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day enquiries

Managing the end-to-end renewal process, including reviewing cover, negotiating terms, presenting renewal options to clients, and proactively working to achieve high retention levels across the portfolio

Preparing detailed and accurate reports, presentations, and documentation to support Account Executives and provide clients with clear, well-structured information to aid decision-making

Working closely with insurers and underwriters to obtain competitive terms for new business, mid-term adjustments, and renewals, ensuring all risk information is accurately presented and negotiated effectively

Using Acturis on a daily basis to create, amend, and manage policy documentation, maintain accurate client records, and ensure all system data is compliant and up to date

Supporting the Commercial Manager with technical input and guidance, assisting colleagues with complex queries, and contributing to the overall technical knowledge and effectiveness of the commercial team
About You:

Demonstrated experience as a Commercial Account Handler, now seeking a role offering greater autonomy and clear opportunities for progression

Strong relationship-building abilities, with excellent communication skills across clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders

Proactive and highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage tasks accurately and efficiently

Confident working within a fast-paced, client-centric commercial environment

Previous experience using Acturis is advantageous
