Commercial Account Handler - Leading Independent Broker - Skipton (Hybrid Working)

We’re delighted to be partnering with the Skipton office of a highly regarded independent insurance brokers, who are looking to add an experienced Commercial Account Handler to their team due to growth. The role will be part of a tight knit team of 6 and will work directly with the Directors, supporting them with the servicing of their clients.

The Role:
You’ll be supporting the servicing and retention of a portfolio of commercial clients, managing premiums ranging from £5,000 to over £100,000.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Handling renewals and ensuring high retention rates
- Broking new and renewal business
- Liaising with underwriters and negotiating favourable terms
- Working daily with Acturis to process and manage policies
About You:
- Proven experience in an SME or Commercial Account Handler role
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- A proactive approach and high attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Experience using Acturis is advantageous
