We are assisting a leading independent broker in Doncaster as they look to add an ambitious Account Executive to their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive looking for a new challenge with a broker offering excellent career prospects, or an aspiring Account Handler with a strong commercial background that is keen to make the step forward. They are looking to invest long term and support someone who will take on a portfolio of existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Inherit a book generating c£150k in income which is made up by a broad range of risks and industry sectors
- You will be working alongside the Commercial Manager and receiving one on one support
- Build long standing relationships with new and existing clients
- Utilise your insurance industry knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities to generate new business
- Use relationship building skills to grow and retain a profitable book of business
- Enhance your networking skills to develop a sustainable pipeline of new business covering a wide range of commercial insurance products
- Demonstrate your self-motivated and hardworking nature to meet and exceed set income & retention targets
- Drive quality, consistency and accuracy in all aspects of the sales and retention process
- Use your excellent communication and client handling abilities to ensure an outstanding client experience at all times
Qualifications
- A track record in retaining existing and placing new business in the commercial insurance industry, either as an Account Executive or Account Handler is essential
- Ability to cover the South Yorkshire region, utilising your diary management skills to ensure you maximise your client reach
- A genuine interest in building long standing working relationships with clients
- Ability and drive to build up a book of new business, ensuring continued long-term client satisfaction
